Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport
Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport is the largest airport in Benin located in the country’s capital Cotonou. The Cotonou Cadjehoun International Airport serves as the primary point of entry into the country through air. This airport serves as a major hub for both international   and domestic flights across West Africa.

Ouagadougou Airport
Ouagadougou Airport is the main air hub in Burkina Faso. It is situated in the center of the capital Ouagadougou. Ouagadougou International Airport is probably the oldest airport in the country, built in 1960 and has an estimated of about 1.5 km drive to the city’s commercial area.

Kotoka International Airport
The Accra International Airport in 1969 had its name changed to the Kotoka International Airport. The airport is located in the country’s capital Accra and serves as the main point of entry by air to Ghana. Kotoka International Airport is a big airport that has the capacity of allowing aircrafts such as Beoing 747 to land.

Banjul International Airport
The Banjul International Airport is the only airport in the Gambia. The airport is also called Yundum International Airport. It is located in the capital of Gambia, Banjul. The Banjul International Airport was built during the WW ll.

Port Bouet Airport
The Port Bouet Airport also called Felix Houphouet Boigny International Airport is the main point of entry to Ivory Coast by air. It is situated 16km to the south east of the capital Abidjan.  The Port Bouet Airport is basically the biggest airport in Cote d’Ivoire.

Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport
The Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport is basically the main gateway to Senegal via air. The airport is located in the Senegalese capital Dakar. The Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport was formerly known as the Dakar International Airport.

Murtala Muhammed International Airport
There are several major international airports serving as entry points through the air to Nigeria; however the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos seems to be the busiest in terms of passengers’ volume. The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and Aminu Kano Airport in Kano are some of the other major international airports found in Nigeria.

Lome-Tokoin Airport
The Lome-Tokoin Airport also called Gnassingbe Eyadema International Airport is the major entry point by air to Togo. The airport is located in the Togolese capital Lome.

Conakry International Airport
The Conakry International Airport is situated in the Guinean capital Conakry and is the major entry point through air to the country. The airport is also called the Gbessia International Airport. The Conakry International Airport is split into the international and domestic terminals.

Osvaldo Vieira International Airport
The only international airport in the country is the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport situated in Bissau the capital of Guinea Bissau.

Amilcar Cabral International Airport
The main international air hub in Cape Verde is the Amilcar Cabral International Airport also called the Sal International Airport. The airport is situated in the tiny island of Sal. There are other international airports in Cape Verde.

Bamako Modibo Keita International Airport
The Bamako Modibo Keita International Airport is the main entry point through air into Mali. The airport is located in the country’s capital Bamako. The Bamako Modibo Keita International Airport was formerly known as Bamako Senou International Airport.

Roberts International Airport
The Roberts International Airport is located in Monrovia. The airport serves as the primary hub for international flights to the country.

Lungi International Airport
The Lungi International Airport is the major international airport in Sierra Leone. The airport is located in freetown the capital of Sierra Leone.
